There’s a certain subset of men all over the world that wouldn’t mind it if they were put in a position to meet Colombian women for romantic purposes. The problem therein lies in that these women are sometimes found in Medellin, Colombia and in other cities in the country. Sadly, these men are not always in that country but fortunately they can find ways to meet these women.

But just because they meet these women does not mean that they instantly make Colombian brides out of them. Sure, it is possible to start wooing and romancing a woman as soon as you step off the plane, but there are a few steps that most people have to take before they can start looking at venues and caterers.

If a guy wants to start romancing a Colombian woman, he’s going to have to put a good amount of planning into it. There’s the meeting, the courtship, the dating, the proposing, the planning, the wedding, the marrying, and the living. But that’s getting a bit ahead.

One of the most important things that takes place throughout the courtship is the date. This is the event that will either make or break the relationship.

If it goes well, then there can be more dates in the future and a bad date can lead to only the one date. So you’re going to want to make sure that the date goes well if the date is being done with someone that you actually want to be with in the future. If you want your date to go well, here are a few tips:

1. Lay the Foundation

An important thing to do before you go out with Colombian women is to connect with them. Just showing up in the country and expecting to get a date by virtue of being there is not always the most viable way of doing things. But laying some type of foundation beforehand can increase your chances of successfully finding love because if you laid even just the groundwork, then you have what you need to build something great.

One way to build a foundation so you can date the women in Colombia is to go online to meet and get to know them.

2. Use What They Like

Getting to know the woman you are going on a date with is going to be somewhat important in order to come up with a dating plan that appeals to her. So it is important to know what the woman you are dating likes so you can create an experience that she is going to respond to positively. A positive response to a date will make a good impression of you in her mind.

For example, a woman who has an interest in history and culture probably won’t turn her nose up at walking tours and may even appreciate it if the guy that she’s with shows enough of an interest in her culture and history to go on the aforementioned tour.

3. A Nice Cup

Sometimes, people do not always want to go all out for a date. Especially if it is a first date and there is not that much of a connection there yet or if one person wants the date to be casual enough that they feel like they can walk away if they need to.

Coffee shops provide a pretty ambience place for people to meet up without being super committed about it. But they can also be pretty committed because coffee is meant to be consumed slowly. After all, just chugging a cup of hot coffee can lead to a situation that is not all that ideal. There are more than a few such shops in Medellin, Colombia.

4. The Lay of the Land

If you plan on someday getting through the problems marrying a Colombian woman, you are going to have to date such a woman beforehand. If you want to do that properly, you’re going to need to get the lay of the land.

This means doing some research in the city where the date takes place. Doing a little bit of research beforehand is how you familiarize yourself and be ready to find love when the opportunity to do presents itself.

So if you want to plan a great date night, then part of that planning is doing the research regarding not just the woman you are on the date with, but also the place in which the dating is to take place.

5. Let Her Take the Lead

The thing about a date is that it is hard enough to plan under ideal circumstances and it is even harder to plan when the circumstances are not ideal, such as when you’re in a foreign city or country.

But there is one great way to take the pressure off, especially since you may not be all that familiar with the city and may not know what the best places to go out on a date. That would be to let the woman take the lead.

There’s one big advantage to this; it’s possible that the woman that you are with is a local, which means she’ll know the area better than you and will be more familiar with the best places to eat or drink or dance or other activities that constitute a date.

So it may not be an entirely bad idea to let your date take the lead when it comes to actually planning the date.

6. Let Loose and have Fun

There are times when careful planning is exactly what is called for. There are times when planning things down to the last detail are how things should be done. Then there are times when the exact opposite thing is what is needed.

Sometimes, you just need to meet the woman that you fancy and let the date take you where you need to go. Sometimes, you don’t exert control over the date and instead you let the date exert control over you. Planning is something that a lot of people do when they are on dates. But if you find yourself dating in Medellin, Colombia, you may have to plan extra hard to make up the lack of being a local on your part.
